ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION |

Sindhis Association of North America (SANA) was founded in 1985, by Sindhis living in NA , who thought it is necessary to meet and co-ordinate on a platform which offers an opportunity to all the Sindhis anywhere in North America, to meet and share their thoughts and concerns about the situation in sindh, as well as preserve the culture, heritage, language and customs of Sindhis in USA.
Out of these, almost all are active to this day for the service of Sindh and SANA, in the form of unconditional sincere commitment, writing articles in Sangat (official newsletter of the organization).
Throughout this period SANA has given a hope to not only Sindhis in USA but also back home in Sindh.
As it is, SANA is looked upon as a very effective forum to voice our concerns over the human rights situation and other issues concerned to Sindh and Sindhis.
It is quite young organization, and we have to go a long way. As everyone is aware a journey of thousand miles starts with a single step,the road is long and narrow, but the spirits are high.
In order for SANA to achieve its goals, it is a vital fact, that all the members of SANA, both male and female, young and old have faith and trust in the organization and its goals, basis on which it was formed, and extend a hand of co-operation and full support.

IWRA is an environmental rights advocacy group campaigning for: the fair Indus River water policies based on Sindh-Punjab agreement of 1945 the ban on construction of any structures including Kalabagh Dam or similar dams causing water piracy by upper riparian of Punjab and obstruction of free flow of Indus River to lower riparian of Sindh the policies to ensure the survival of ecology of Indus River
